Seriously, when I get lost on here I click something vaguely close and it says 'Did you want to do this?' and so far it has always been right, so I want to hug it *g* And somehow I don't feel patronised at all, which is quite an achievement.

You know, I think you're right.

I used to talk to everything inanimate until I got a dog, but she's really handy and as a bonus, follows me around all day.

The computer generally comes in third as I have a house full of plants and trees that require conversation too. But without them all Jon would be coming home to a crazy person every night!

Ahhh - I have no plants right now. But my big laptop is Jean (as in Grey, X-Men) - she's overpowered and a little crazy, but I love her anyway. Netbook is Jubilee (also X-Men) - little and sparkly.

Hehe, being a very Lovecraft household our desktop is Nyarlathotep (it has many forms) and my knackered fifth-hand only-works-when-it-feels-like-it laptop is Azathoth (pure chaos and destruction).

But, but it asks me questions! It says 'hey, lost and confused person, were you looking for this?' and it's only polite to say thank you, right? (Maybe wanting to hug it is going a bit far, but I was very grateful for it reading my mind *g*)

I'd be worried Nyar is plotting against us if I didn't already *know* it was. It's probably trying right now to work out how to make Firefox self-destruct for the third time.

Well, it's entertaining at least. Though I sometimes suspected one of my rats thought his name was "GET back here you thieving little bastard!"

Aww, well maybe it's a good thing, because it means you were never wildly clicking options due to being lost! But rest assured, if you get lost among the menus it is very good at pointing you in the right direction. Last night it was uploading new icons that baffled me, but I achieved llama upload in the end :)
