But hey, it's only 3 episodes. *pets the non-Sherlock fans*
Loved this almost as much as last week's, but in a completely different way. Horror and fun, and John wandering off alone with his trusty torch in hand and getting into trouble. Of course, any actual trouble had to be Sherlock's fault. Experimenting on John, oh Sherlock you bastard :D
But the funniest moment of the episode for me came from the Jon sitting next to me, actually.
Pub/B&B owner on screen: "Yours a snorer as well?"
Jon: "Ohhh, that's why they apologised about not having a double room to offer them, the owners are a gay couple as well.
Me: *blinks* "As well?"
Jon: "YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!"
Yes beloved, I do. :D Your Certificate in Subtext Detection is in the post, I'm sure.
Not that you can call any of that subtext. Damnit, this means they're going to smash our hearts into tiny little pieces next week, doesn't it? *sigh*
Also, any WTF I hadn't quite recovered from over the last moments was massively exceeded by the incredible WTF of next week's preview. It looks FANTASTIC, but again I say: WTF??? (Though I paused it on the newspaper for a closer look and ha! John Watson 'confirmed bachelor'. Poor baby.
