Okay, so recs from [community profile] hp_beholder as promised. I think I've missed some even from the ones I've read and commented on so far, and I have lots still to read and look at, but five isn't a bad start for now.

Eyes Open. Fic, Moody/Snape, NC-17. By [profile] atdelphi / [personal profile] delphi. Yes, I already linked to this, but I am determined that everyone who could possibly have an interest should read it. My gift (mine! But I can share) and I'm completely in love with it. Interrogation scenarios fascinate me, and I'd happily sell my soul to see this Snape get under Moody's skin forever, or even just try. I can't even list all the things I like about it, but I do love how the balance of power shifts through the story, and the wonderful writing – the author has a talent for the subtly chilling. Gah, I wish I could write like this.

The Language of Birds. Art (plus text), Marcus/Ginny, NC-17, by [personal profile] didodikali
Such a clever idea, and beautifully executed.

Irma's Library. Fic, Irma Pince/lots of people, PG-13. by [profile] miramiraficfic. The story of Irma's week of assignations from Slughorn's silver tongue to the mysterious Snape and the guilty pleasures of Rosmerta is utterly charming. I'm not sure, but I think Flitwick might steal the show in the end. Wonderful.

As You Say. Fic, Petunia/Snape, PG-13/R. By [personal profile] lash_larue. I wasn't sure I was going to make it through 16k words of this pairing, but it didn't take long for me to get hooked. I'm a complete sucker for a structure, so that appealed outright, but what really grabbed me about it in the end was the undoubted common ground between the characters and the convincing thawing out of Petunia's attitude towards magic, while not losing any of the Petunia we see in the books. Great stuff.

Smudge. Fic, Dean Thomas/Millicent Bulstrode, R. By [personal profile] kinky_kneazle. Really not a pairing I expected to read or enjoy, but that's normal for this fest, of course! Beautifully written, and a fascinating look at a relationship through an artist's eyes.

ETA: Round up posts so far here and here if you want to peruse the rest of the postings but don't know where to start. Sigh, I love this fest SO MUCH.
